About Me

Journey started in Puerto Rico where my first thought at an adult life was to open my own shop to repair computers. I was almost doing that already for the family, even broke some machines in the process (sorry mom) but all in the name of learning!

When graduation came about I already had applied for multiple universities and the push to get out of the island was big; but what really got me was the freedom to hop in a car and travel for miles! Different cities, states, even countries! So I made the jump over in 2007 from Puerto Rico to Florida and started studies in Florida International University. That’s where I finish my bachelor’s in Computer Engineer and a master’s in Engineering Management.

My work at the time lead me to meet some amazing people, and even greater opportunities; one of those was to go work in Cupertino, CA as a Software QA Engineer. So in 2018 I made my second big change to live in the Bay Area! Since road trips were the original reason for the first jump, it was fitting enough to drive from Florida to California.

Eventually time caught up and I started getting home sick and wanted to be closer to family and friends (mostly whom were still in Florida or in Puerto Rico). A pivotal moment in my life came about when the team I was working with was moving from the Bay Area to San Diego and the options appeared: move to San Diego, or find a new team.

Amazingly in my search a team that was looking for a software QA engineer showed up, furthermore the position was in Austin, TX. Big decision came from this, since moving from California meant being closer to family, but leaving behind the new team and friends. But alas in 2021, I made the jump from California to Texas.
